About us

Explore.Rome.it is an independent guide to things to do in Rome: the official prices and opening hours of museums and monuments, the rules to know and the tours sold on GetYourGuide, compared. We are not Roma Capitale, Turismo Roma, the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Colosseum Archaeological Park, the Vatican Museums, a museum, a tour operator or GetYourGuide. The site name describes the topic, not an institution.

Prices, hours and rules come from the official pages of the museums, the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Holy See and Roma Capitale; tour details come from the operator listings on GetYourGuide, reviews included. Prices and hours change: if the ticket or museum says otherwise, that takes precedence.

The site is funded by affiliate commissions: if you book via a GetYourGuide link on these pages, we may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you. Details on the affiliate links page.
